Several curved fins. It took maybe 10 washes (half an acid wash, then distilled water) to clean it to the point where bits weren't dripping. After I cleaned it up and painstakingly rearranged the slats, everything worked flawlessly. It's a radiator, no big deal. In terms of performance, this is a low-density heatsink (FPI) with an added mid-thickness. It works great. The advantage of this radar is its convenience. With a low FPI density and 45mm thickness, you can use any case fan you like and still get decent cooling. That means less money on the fans and less noise from lower fan speeds. I tested this radar with EZDIY FAB airflow fans and Arctic P12 static pressure fans at different speeds. The difference was less than 2°C. At almost maximum fan speed (1500 rpm), EZDIY-FAB was 52.1°C and P12 was 50.4°.
