This product was perfect for what I needed. I wanted to put a liner on the shelves of the new shoebox to protect them from moisture and dirt. It's MUCH, MUCH easier to work with than regular shelf liner, and it's quite thick. Extremely easy to cut straight with a good pair of scissors (my mat on the shelf always ends up crooked because the rollers go crooked to begin with) and so easy to wipe clean. I doubt the liner will move around on the shelf because it has some weight, but I used dots of glue under mine because I knew it would move if you took your shoes off the shelf. I know it's sold as a toolbox liner, but it's great for shelves!
