I used to give this collar 5 stars but after my dog wore it for a month I had to lower it to 2 stars. This collar is "soft" which seemed like a good idea. But as you can see from the photos (see product photos), the padding doesn't quite fit the collar, it only covers about half of the collar - and that's where the padding stops, the seams rub. My dog's neck and he's starting to develop two bald spots on each side of his neck where the stitches are rubbing him. I have a boxer and he's very active, running and jumping, so there's a lot of movement, which means there's a lot of friction. This problem would be solved if the manufacturer expanded the padding around the collar. .I'm sad to have to lower my rating because I love this collar and it's durable and made of heavy duty material. but I can't use a collar that rubs on two wounds on my dog's neck.
