Overall this is a good product. But I have some advice for those who are thinking about buying it. The fabric is not as opaque as a regular diffusion softbox. You CAN see straight through the fabric, and if you use a non-diffused light source like a bare incandescent bulb or direct sunlight, you can easily see the source through the fabric. (You can see a good example of transparency in the product photos.) You'll still be able to see a very slight hard edge in the shadows. So in this case you either need another product or you need to double or triple this diffusion. So basically it's great for: 1) When you're using harsh direct sunlight. or light from bare incandescent bulbs and you want a slightly soft light that looks natural and not diffused but is still soft enough to look beautiful. View of a very large window. #2 how I use it. I have 2 strobes with 24 x 24" softboxes aimed at it from a few feet away and the light on the subject is incredibly soft. However, without the softboxes it just doesn't have the same effect.
