What I didn't realize before buying the organizer is that it's very easy to switch from 6 to 2 or even 4 compartments. We bought it for a car ride with our almost 3 and almost 4 year old kids. . I ended up using it as 4 bays between car seats in a Honda Fit. This created two rectangular and two square compartments, one for each long side. Each child had a tablet, card book and travel doodles in a rectangle, and a bottle of water and a small bag of snacks in a square. It's big enough to hold items, but not so big that things get lost or inaccessible. The kids had easy access to their stuff and we didn't get thrown when we got off at rest stops. I suspect this will last until they grow up, it's durable, easy to wash and also fastens to keep it from flying around on short stops. Highly recommended.
