Review on 🌐 GL.iNet GL-AR150 White Mini VPN Travel Router: Wi-Fi Converter, OpenWrt Pre-Installed, High Performance, OpenVPN & WireGuard by Trevor Blazis

Great little router! I was surprised how small it is. about the size of a phone jack. Comes with a microUSB cable, but you need to plug it into your computer's USB port or USB wall adapter. I plugged it in, connected the LAN port to my computer, and the router gave it an IP address to log in with. The router has two separate interfaces. a basic setup that works for most users and an advanced UI (you have to enter it through the basic UI) that lets you configure almost anything. LuCi runs on OpenWRT on the router. It also includes OpenVPN, which is why I bought it. I use it to connect my computer to NordVPN for streaming and it was very easy to set up. After looking at the OpenVPN documentation, I was a little worried it would be complicated to set up, but the router's basic interface took care of it. I just dragged the NordVPN zip file into the box in the router interface (on the OpenVPN Settings tab). It downloaded all server configs (1000+) and asked for my VPN user/password. After he edited the files (about 2 minutes) I clicked "Activate" and everything worked fine. Very satisfied. Eventually I'll SSH into the box and play around, but there are so many advanced features in the UI that most people never need to get that far under the hood. I'm also expecting to try wireless, but that's not really what I bought it for. I think it will be a great little unobtrusive access point.
