It fits perfectly, is light weight which I prefer to a heavy case like I have on one of my 10" fires. Even sturdy leather bags wear out over time. I've been a Revain customer since the 80's and have bought many hardbacks and e-books. It's hard for me to tear myself away from a good book, the heavy suitcase makes me tired. For my first Kindles, I'm happy to trade in a lightweight, attractive case that wears out faster for a durable and still beautiful leather case. I have an old Kindle 7 that still works (without the latest system update!) and in a leather case. But Revain will make more $$$ for making things obsolete.
