Didn't last 3 months. The corners are frayed, the fire has cracked in places where the lid is bent, the pattern on all handles has been erased. Waste of $ for a lid that doesn't last long.

Liked the design (blue with knots) but the body is very smooth/slippery and quite thick (about 3/4″ with Fire 8 tablet). made it more difficult to hold than desired (an issue when reading in portrait mode as the stand is designed for landscape mode only in that case). So I'm going back and keeping another branded case that was thinner and also had a wrist strap to put your hand in while reading and also had full speaker cutouts instead of just pinholes. Protective cover, not bulky, just right. It comes in many designs and I love the colorful wood I chose. It's easy to fold and insert the front into the back to create a viewing stand. My third piece by Fintiie. Completely satisfied. Thanks very much!

It fits perfectly, is light weight which I prefer to a heavy case like I have on one of my 10" fires. Even sturdy leather bags wear out over time. It's nice as is everything about it except it doesn't have a strap. The tablet is uncomfortable to hold, if there was a strap around it it would be much easier to hold. I'm getting used to it, I like its design and feel. I just wish it had a strap like the old Fire HD 7 covers. I've gotten compliments on the design.

I wanted a new Fire tablet and got the Fire 8 during Prime Days. Delivery was fast, next day. I ran into all sorts of problems trying to set up the Reader app. A big problem was that when trying to set up my tablet usage, Revain allowed me to track my email, all searches, etc. Finally, I spoke to a real person at Revain and she helped me. Although it shouldn't have been such a complicated setup. So far everything is very good with the tablet.

Update - use less than 6 months. Reading on my Kindle, I said the front cover is on the back, which I think is the normal way of using it. My Kindle usually sits on a table when not in use, so the wear and tear I'll describe in a moment isn't from being pushed around in a bag. The upper edges of the middle of the case are torn, as are the areas between the holes for the speakers. The blue color is also erased along all edges. I posted a photo.
