Secure Your Locker with Master Lock 1505D Combination Padlock - 1 Pack, Assorted Colors Review

Nice lock. The only problem is that the combination was handwritten on the tag and it was WRONG! It took us about 2.5 hours to figure out what the combo was! Also, it looks a bit tarnished, but the lock still works well. I got pink, not blue. It's not a problem for me, but maybe for someone.

I'm not sure if the lock doesn't work from one time to the next, but 50% of the time it won't accept the combination. I've tried, others have tried, one worked and the other didn't. Didn't want to rely on it. Unfortunately, since it was only used 1-2 times a week, the return period has expired, otherwise I would have done it. Disappointing.

It doesn't always open the first and even the second time. It also accounts for user error. Sometimes I can type a combination correctly and it just won't open. It may take up to 3 or 4 attempts. Sometimes you have to pull very hard to open them. Well, not a very good lock, but basically it does what I need it to stay locked. I think if it's harder to open then it's harder to steal my stuff, that's all.

I have a 20 year old Master Lock combination lock that I have used on lockers, suitcases, doors etc for literally 20 years and it works great and still works. One problem I have found with these types of locks (compared to a key lock or a dial lock) is that if you forget the combination - (this is a 3 digit unlock code uniquely assigned to each and hidden in the packaging ) - The lock cannot be opened!
