I read lots of reviews that they have trouble opening the lock. I still decided to buy this lock just to see it. Good brand and cheap. However, I also had trouble opening it and it only opened every 4 attempts despite being done correctly. Well, I've come up with a trick. Every time you go to a number, you get past the number 0.5. So think of each tick as 1 and then 0.5 between each tick. So let's say it was 12-30-01 as a combo. You twist it 1 full turn clockwise 3 times to restart, then twist clockwise for 0.5 minutes. 12 which is actually like 11.5 then turn left 0.5 min. 30 which is about 30.5, then turn right for 0.5 min. 01 which is equal to 0.5. I hope that makes sense, because that's how I understood it. Good luck to you all! I'm giving 4 stars because it's hard to open and you can't choose a color. I got blue and it was the color I wanted least. :/ Spring! I think it goes with my blue pants. Haha!
