It's not so easy to close. and it's brand new. don't take it back, so I'm sticking with it. DO NOT BUY HERE. If you want to buy a Master Lock, buy it from Home Depot or another store that will accept the return of the defective item.

Things to know about this lock.1. The lock can be installed backwards, preventing you from inserting the key to open.2. If fitted upside down, it can be cut with a small hacksaw in 5 minutes. Overall this is a cheap padlock with poor construction. Don't use it to protect anything serious.

Works great! Customization options are ideal for reusable or hard-to-lock items that require little space. The keyhole entrance rotates, making it a bit difficult to insert the key into the lock. Overall very impressed and even very drunk I couldn't manage to mow the lawn at 1am.

I was trying to replace a similar lock from the same manufacturer to scare my boat trailer a bit. It turned out that the bolt diameter of this lock is slightly larger than the lock I lost and this one will not fit through the locking pin holes. I know they make the same lock with a slightly narrower deadbolt, but I couldn't find it.

I had to remove two with bolt cutters (shockingly easy with just about any padlock available) because I had locked my stuff in such a way that the padlock was inaccessible. Remember to ALWAYS insert the shackle on the correct side of the lock. The instructions say so, but you will lose and forget them.
