Simple and easy to use

It's just a simple lock with a key at a very reasonable price. I use it for my gym locker and it's really handy. It probably won't put off a master cracker, but I don't think I need to worry about it while in the gym.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Useless functions

Very thin neck and body. Doesn't seem reliable

I bought it for a street fence gate. The one I had for many years started sticking, it became difficult to unlock. I have used many Master Lock products over the years but am a little disappointed with how flimsy the shank and body of this lock is. It's almost like a toy. But I don't want to leave the house any more than I have to and getting it back is a hassle and a wait.

Ideal for gate protection

I bought this product to cover a missing side rail. The deadbolt on the gate required a longer locking system than a standard padlock. This product meets this requirement and protects the gate as desired. The lock is well made and moves freely in front of the gate for several weeks during Arizona's intense heat and rainy season. I'm happy with the purchase and I think it's good value for money.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons

Better protection than combination locks

I know workplaces tell people to use combination locks but I've recently found people lying about forgetting their combination locks and using a security system to get into the Breaking into other people's lockers and stealing things. I advise you to use key locks as the keys can be attached to your ID card, bunch of keys etc and this confirms that you own this locker and lock and no one can make fun of picking into the safe.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Weight

Not bad, nice castle.

As other reviews say "It's very light and not good for the road." Useless if you need to secure a heavy door or lock. It's great for a lockable drawer, an indoor locker, and maybe even some lightweight storage that holds things that aren't too important. Can be picked with a light hammer or rock, it's just a long neck light lock. While you don't expect it to withstand the elements, overall a good lock for my needs.

  • Easy Install

Thin, flimsy and not designed for real protection.

This is a great lock for items you are not very serious about protecting. It's flimsy, flimsy, and almost anyone with a decent tool kit can bypass this lock. Still, it's a good buy and I'm glad I bought it. I use it as a cheap tool box at work so people can't just grab my cheap hand tools. I would never recommend using this on a gate, especially outside in inclement weather. If you are looking for a good luggage lock, a tool box lock or just something that will act as a visual deterrent then…

You get what you pay for

. An additional item for exercise selection. Even a beginner (like me) can open it in a few seconds by inserting a pick and wiggling around a bit. The larger pins can even be lifted with a pick, and I suppose a comb will open them up quickly. I could use it to lock down hardware or some other extremely low security task. Whether you're trying to secure a gym locker or something remotely valuable, there are "real" padlocks for <$10 here.

Pros
  • . Delivery was very quick.
Cons
  • . Updated

Security of little concern.

It should be pretty obvious that any forced or manipulative entry would not be significantly deterred by this padlock. It's prone to some workarounds like shimming and comb mounting. It can be broken with a hammer or any force-penetrating tool. It only has 4 default outputs, so almost any kernel extraction method will work quickly, even for a beginner. It works well for security with little cost or importance. Meal box when camping to keep the raccoons away, lock mobile toilet at work place…

Good for containment

I bought this for a garage side door padlock to be used in addition to the front lock handle. The lock is lightweight and easy to use, but it's not a secure lock at all. For this purpose I think it's fine. Given that the door can be easily kicked or picked with a crowbar, these locks are only good for deterring normally honest people from becoming thieves. If someone aims at your garage or other locked object, the world's best padlock won't stop your door from being kicked out. Wood is also a…
