The MOUNTUP Monitor laptop stand has the advantage of being able to be attached to the edge of a desk or to an accessible grommet (cable routing hole). I'm using it with a 27" MSI gaming monitor, which weighs around 12 pounds without the stand, so supporting the monitor and a small laptop shouldn't be a problem. I also like the included cable management clips. the stand is "high-end," so it lacks features like gas spring levers or "one-touch" height adjustment; If you're constantly adjusting the height of your monitor or laptop, this probably isn't the best choice. With a fixed height, this device is durable and will meet your needs at a great price.
