A good cutting mat is very important for a craftsman. When I moved into the house I live in now, we downsized and I didn't bring my giant cutting mat or many of my crafts with me. I just didn't have the space. I've recently gotten back into crafting and have found my happy spot and realized I need some kind of cutting mat. I chose this one because it's really affordable and the size is perfect. That's enough for any project I would do. I love that it's self-healing too. My last mat was the same and it makes a difference as you use it more and more.
