Apparently all my customers asked for a "special" product for pot holders etc. So I bought it to test. I am very disappointed with what it is. It's just 100% cotton batting, nothing more. I can buy the same at Walmart or JoAnn's for a much lower price. I actually have the exact same cotton in my closet that I bought for another project. I always use 100% cotton batting, so it's nothing special. EXCEPT for the fact that it was only 1 yard (36x36) and came in a "nifty" plastic wrapper.

I'm surprised it works the way I hoped it would . I used it to make my mom some pot holders for Mother's Day this year and she uses them all the time. (I made them with a material that matches the tablecloth I previously made for it.) I made this into a potato bag following the instructions on the back and the bag works great. I also use the bag to cook broccoli, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, turnip greens, etc. Sometimes I put a whole bowl of veggies and some water in the bag. I also sewed some organic jersey bags to use in place of paper towels. After use, I soak the bags in water and detergent, then put them in the wash to wash and reuse. I like my potato bag and its liners because they allow me to cook veggies faster
