Layered it really works to keep the heat at bay
I'm surprised it works the way I hoped it would . I used it to make my mom some pot holders for Mother's Day this year and she uses them all the time. (I made them with a material that matches the tablecloth I previously made for it.) Turning the materials inside out to iron them flat for sewing was quite difficult with these inner layers of the heavy fabric I made just used. .I had to try it myself, with the warm pot handle, and didn't feel the familiar urge to put the pot back on. I could wear it, or rather move it,
