Trying to jump over my car with these cables, the cables caught fire and burned another car. Now they've melted a big hole in their headlights. Terrible cable quality.

Super cheap cables for a reason. Not only did they not work properly, they melted and burned through my new headlight. Went and bought one at the Autozone and they work 10x better.

Didn't start my wife's car. Your battery was so weak the starter clicked. I had to use an old pair of drugs to get the car to start. Very disappointed with this simple Amazon item!

Cheap Cables ALUMINUM stranded wires with copper coating that look like a high quality patch cord set. Aluminum breaks easily and is not reliable enough to rely on when needed. Someone worked hard to trick copper patch cords.

I use them to cut the clips on one end to connect the line to the trolling motor and make an extension. However, if you use them to start a car, they are useless. The plastic around the wire is over twice the thickness of the wire itself. Buy a smaller cord for jump starting, like a 6 or 8. They worked great as a trolling motor extender so I give 5 stars but my use was not the intended use for this product.

As the name suggests I didn't need this for a patch cord but I did need this shielded cable for another project and it worked great box! Cables with thick conductors abound, and most sources agree that copper conducts only slightly better than aluminum. Aluminum is also cheaper, lighter and more malleable.
