Not suitable for easy autostart, but .
I use them to cut the clips on one end to connect the line to the trolling motor and make an extension. However, if you use them to start a car, they are useless. The plastic around the wire is over twice the thickness of the wire itself. Buy a smaller cord for jump starting, like a 6 or 8. They worked great as a trolling motor extender so I give 5 stars but my use was not the intended use for this product.
