Seriously, you can't expect a better cable for ten easy dollars. Critics complain that it is made of copper-clad aluminum wire. Big thing. Cables with thick conductors abound, and most sources agree that copper conducts only slightly better than aluminum. Aluminum is also cheaper, lighter and more malleable. In other words, the cable is light and flexible with a thick coating. The clamps are the strongest I've used and also have reinforcements to hold the wire in place and prevent it from fraying or coming loose. I find them a lot cheaper and heavier than standard trolling motor extensions (ie: almost $10 for 2ft versus 12ft. I returned the short ones).
