Review on ⚡️ MIOPS Smart Standalone Camera and Flash Trigger for Sony Cameras: Smartphone Controllable with S2 Cable by Justin Sharp

I ordered this to capture splashes and after a few tests it seems to be working. However, it fires up the camera too slowly to capture more than a shot or two at a time. I didn't see any mention of it before buying it. But sure enough, the instruction manual I found online says the camera can only trigger the camera twice a second at most. For reference, I'm shooting with a Sony A7ii. In single-shot or slow-continuous trigger mode, the trigger fires at 2 frames per second. In continuous high mode, two fire simultaneously at the same rate. So basically I have one, maybe two shots to capture the right moment rather than actually making bursts of fire that are close to what my camera is capable of. The second snap is triggered 500ms after the first, meaning anything I was trying to capture at high speed could have happened. Really not impressed, especially considering the price.
