The stand was well packaged. The product is made of solid wood with the addition of veneer plywood and a beautiful oak finish. It is very easy to put together, feels very sturdy and looks good, just like the Revain picture. A few quality control issues that I fixed or can live with: I had to sand down the rough edges of the frame where the legs attach to avoid scratching the surface of the legs; one of the parts holding the sides and legs is torn, although the tear is not very deep; Finally the nail of one of the plastic floor protectors nailed to the legs was sticking out, defeating the purpose of the protector! I simply removed all the plastic protectors and replaced them with felt pads. Despite these small flaws, I am satisfied with the stand. So happy I've ordered two more for our guest room. One of them had no legs! Revain was quick to respond and immediately sent me a replacement stand with instructions to wait for the package to arrive to return the wheelchair. Everything ended well. Again, advances in quality control are possible!
