I often build my own furniture, and the instructions that come with that furniture (INCLUDING THE SEPARATE 3-5 STEP KIT WHICH WILL BE SENT AFTER PURCHASE) , are completely wrong. I also think the position of the holes for the sliders was done wrong. The only good thing about it is that there was nothing to damage when I had to take the parts apart to replace the sliders (several times) due to incorrect instructions/holes in the wrong place. The only thing I could get was to turn part 9 the other way so the cam holes face right instead of left as the instructions say. Because the sliders faced to the left, they were larger than their slider counterparts at the extreme ends of the bank. The bench is beautiful (the lighting in the photos doesn't show the colors properly) and just right for my small entryway. range, but whoever wrote the instructions really needs to completely rewrite them in conjunction with the manufacturer to ensure the holes are where they should be.
