You really can't go wrong with this superb lens. I have several Fujifilm XF lenses and this one spends most of my time with my X-T2. It's my favorite vantage point and has a surprisingly wide aperture (f/1.4) for low light/low ISO shooting. Virtually no distortion, no flare, no hassles. The glass is housed in a sturdy metal case that should last a lifetime or two. Features a "clutch" focus ring that locks when extended in autofocus mode and retracts into the camera to allow manual focusing. While this allows you to manually focus with the camera in AF Single mode, you don't have manual focus assist in the viewfinder - it's recommended that you put your camera and lens in manual focus mode for best results. The aperture ring moves too easily, so it's a good idea to check the setting before shooting. As a result, the colors in the photos are accurate, the exposure is bright, and the image is sharp. I haven't been disappointed yet.
