The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

an excellent solution in commerce for a top picture - significantly better than 16-55 2.8 - all the same, 1.4 and 2.8 are very much both in terms of ISO and flu / 1.2 Different pros: good LIGHT staff for permanent work - equivalent to 35mm light small quick accurate 1.4 perfectly working Got cons: expensive on 1.4 there is HA - they are eliminated with one button in LightRoom or in the camera itself when shooting in Jpeg - but still I would like without them

After two years of experience using the Fujinon XF 18-55 F2.8-4 lens, 23, 35 and 55 and after half a year he acquired the XF 23 mm F1.4 trips; shooting in the studio, reportage interview shooting; street photo; shooting at home - I shoot 98% of the frames on the XF 23 1 2 the work of the legs and head for the correct composition; 3 the lens is not cheap - but you will change more than one camera, Examples of photos for a specific lens can always be seen on Flickr: q=XF+23

Pros
  • Experience of use: 8 Optical characteristics; Working aperture 1.4, excellent "bokeh", does not catch glare; 2 metal case, impeccable assembly, smooth running of all rings; 3 to Fujinon XF 35 1.4) 4 portraits, street photos, landscapes, genre.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

A very good lens that surprised me a lot Pushing it head-on with the Canon 35L, I was very impressed with the excellent sharpness, especially in the corners - the kenon comes out sharp somewhere around F3.5-F4, the fujik - barely covered already shows an excellent result At the same time, it is almost twice as light and much smaller. Elka, of course, will catch up in bokeh / pattern, but still, for a cropped 1.4 lens, this is a very good result However, it's easier to see the picture, but…

Pros
  • - small and light (compared to "adult" 35mm counterparts) - nimble - sharp with open - good edges - small vignette and chromaticity
Cons
  • - not a very convenient way to switch AF / MF - this is implemented by shifting the focus ring, in the likeness of old nikkors - although this method looks excellent with a hidden distance scale, it does not differ in speed or convenience; in addition, there is no mechanical connection between the lenses and the ring - turning the ring still works the motor - I would like the diaphragm ring to be tighter - often clings to a finger in general, this is the problem of "retro" controls - the convenience is slightly reduced, at the cost of the "wow" effect of torsion - the lens is pleasantly metallic, but the lens hood is plastic. greedy

2 years experience with poor performance for its price.

I've had this for 2 years now and I can honestly say I'm not impressed. Along with this lens I have the XF18-135 3.5-5.6 and the XF50-140 2.8. I cannot recommend this lens. For some reason the images produced by this lens are always soft and sometimes foggy, and this is far from 50-140 quality. They don't even belong in the same category when it comes to clarity and sharpness. When I have enough light and need a wide angle, I use my 18-135. There should be something here. How can a superzoom…

  • Great for a small home

My favorite Fuji lens

Wonderful lens. It's perhaps a little larger than I would have liked if attached to my X-T10, but it's actually small and capable of producing great images even wide open. If I don't want to carry around extra lenses I usually attach this one as the 35mm equivalent focal length is very versatile. The build quality is really top notch. I like the aperture ring it and all Fuji XF lenses have and while I don't use manual focus very often the flyback ring is neatly designed. My only minor complaint

Quality lens

You really can't go wrong with this superb lens. I have several Fujifilm XF lenses and this one spends most of my time with my X-T2. It's my favorite vantage point and has a surprisingly wide aperture (f/1.4) for low light/low ISO shooting. Virtually no distortion, no flare, no hassles. The glass is housed in a sturdy metal case that should last a lifetime or two. Features a "clutch" focus ring that locks when extended in autofocus mode and retracts into the camera to allow manual focusing…

Versatile, sharp, well-built lens. Wow!

I have been using Fujifilm for a long time and wanted a universal universal lens. My research led me to the well-received 23mm F1.4 lens. What attracted me to this lens was its sharpness, large aperture and focal length. The focal length is wide enough to capture landscapes and street scenes, but narrow enough to focus on a single subject. The focal length is great for portraits, especially when you want to capture more of the surroundings. In low light, the lens produces clear images. Even…

This is how all lenses should be made.

I can't say more about this lens than what has already been said. The Fuji XF 23mm is simply one of Fuji's excellent offerings for the X-mount system, and it offers what only this type of lens can do: a huge aperture and a moderately wide angle of view. Although most major lens manufacturers offer these types of lenses in their range, they tend to be large, heavy and of course expensive. They can often perform excellently because, to be honest, if a lens manufacturer (let's say Nikon or Canon…

Not a bad product, but I expected a little more.

I owned this lens for 3 years, when buying I had a lot of hopes for it, but in the end it just "didn't go in" and lay idle in the bedside table, I used it infrequently. I recently traded it for a 56/1.2 portrait lens. In addition to this lens, I have a regular zoom 18-55 and a fixed 35 / 1.4, both were bought together with the camera in a company store. I have 2 basic shooting scenarios: a family photo indoors and a family photo outdoors. In the first scenario, the standard zoom together with…

Pros
  • Beautiful picture, solid workmanship, sharpness wide open
Cons
  • Price, size, weight. It is clear that all this is subjective, in comparison with other optics of the Fujifilm system.

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

In short, what to say - the lens is suitable, the picture is fire, there’s a very big difference from 23. 2.0 - who watched it or read reviews there, what they say there and show that there’s not much difference - it’s not. The difference is simply enormous. Yes, 23.2.0 is of course more modern, protected and all that - but it's just the most common lens for little money. But 1.4 is a really different class. Not suitable for quick shots. For everything else, it's perfect. By the way, he

Pros
  • Very cool picture, but unusual (after canon). Super soft. At 1.4, you need not deviate from the course at all and press the shutter button, otherwise you will miss a hundred pounds. At 35mm 1.4 canon it was somehow a little easier to shoot in this regard. But maybe it's a matter of habit. Very cool in appearance, the thing is felt. The price in general, if you take it for 50, then it's normal. Although the picture is generally no worse than other top-end lenses from other manufacturers
Cons
  • Autofocus - yes, it still dulls sometimes when it's especially dark, although not often at all. Well, yes, the focus is noisy compared to 23 2.0. I use x-e3 with new firmware on a new carcass - so there can be no excuse for this
