Poor plug-in fit

Checked very carefully for leaks for 2 days after changing the filter. 4 days after installing a new filter with plug-in connections, a strong leak began, the bottom of the melamine cabinet (sawdust with plastic edges) got wet and warped. A major overhaul is imminent, luckily I managed to do it before I damaged the wooden floor. Replace cheap accessories with branded accessories. The money I saved from buying it cheap is spent 20 times more than replacing the cabinet base.
