I purchase this kite reel a few months ago but didn't use it until October. I wish that I had used it sooner. The first time out, the plastic cracked at the handle which made it extremely hard to reel the kite back in. I'm including pictures for reference. My suggestion would be for you to not purchase this type but one with a metal reel. One that won't crack while the kite is in flight. Hope this helps someone.
