I work in healthcare and injured my foot. I could easily heal it myself with the right boot. This shoe has a terrible design. There is a fixed piece at the back only about 1 inch from the bottom to the top, the rest depends on the velcro sock. My foot slipped off the heel so badly I had a huge blister within an hour. Another problem is that the inflatable part is in front of your lower leg, right at the front of your leg. and not on the sides, so your ankle is NOT stabilized, which in turn encourages the heel to slide up and down. I do NOT recommend this shoe.
