I sprained my ankle at a soccer game recently. Got my old Aircast out of storage but the velcro was too worn and the airbags didn't work that well. I ordered this one and it is as good if not better than my plane. It's lighter, easier to step on (it doesn't have a large plastic tongue) and is comfortable to walk in. As well as in low-rise. I have had several problems with my feet and am currently in a hard cast on one and just had a cast removed on the other. To remove the cast, I needed a hiking boot. I've used many in the past but I ordered this one for the price and fast shipping and I love it. It's comfortable, secure and keeps my foot where I need it. I will buy another one when I can remove the second cast.

While not fun to wear boots, this item is amazing. Comfortable, lightweight and lots of ways to change the fit to be comfortable and supportive. Support boots that work well. I usually wear a size 81/2 but some reviews say it's bigger. I ordered small, not medium as indicated in the size chart. The small ones fit great, I still use a few of the pads that came with them because I have narrow calves.
