I ordered the recommended size for my shoe size and it was too big. My toes did not protrude, they were fully closed and my ankle was so large that it could not be locked tightly around the leg. As others have pointed out, it makes a lot of noise when walking. I took two steps and said damn no! Looks good and just sitting there it was soft and comfortable. I suspect that because it was too big pumping wouldn't even make up for it. Even though I knew it was too big, it was very difficult to put on. The kit included small pads, but even using them couldn't compensate for the inaccuracy of the size chart.
