Review on Banks 48138 Monster Exhaust System by Dennis Wood

I had to replace the catalytic converter in my 2006 Tacoma which means you have to rip the entire exhaust manifold off so of course I figured it would be a good excuse to get a cute exhaust. Was sent and packaged very well and would have taken 2 people a couple of hours if I hadn't had to saw off every single bolt on my old exhaust. Be sure to keep this in mind when purchasing. As for the product, at first it worked without any problems. I was driving my truck off-road in the desert and found a pretty big exhaust leak. This came from the point where the old exhaust meets the new, and mostly an imperfect fit. I was able to shape a bracket that would better support the weight of the exhaust so it was straight and the problem went away. This is really the only negative comment I have on this exhaust as it only sounds on my long platform with 6 speed manual. Not too loud but definitely lets people know you're there. I don't think you can go wrong with a Banks product.
