Living in sunny Florida my office gets warm during the day as the sun heats our side of the building. Solution? Compact yet attractive 6" fan from Holmes! The fan is nicely packaged and looks every bit as good as the photos on the product page. Sitting about 3ft from where the fan sits on my desk. From what I've read, the comments said this 6" Holmes fan was USB. I didn't really want or need a USB fan, but I was ready and had a 5 -V power supply ready to plug in. After unpacking, I was amazed to find that it wasn't USB If I would change anything, it would be that the base didn't have a flat, rubber, or felt plate under the fan has. It definitely sits flat, but it needs to have a non-slip plate at the base of the fan. The reason I say this is when I first turned it on when it moved to the left where I put it. No problem, I just cut out a sheet of paper the same size as the base to put under the fan and voila, it stopped moving when I first turned it on. Other than that, it's a great little fan that moves a lot of air. , in stylish all-metal packaging!
