I've been using this product for a few days now and I have to say it's amazing. I can't believe how much dust it picked up off my bed in just a few minutes of use. It has a big clear bin and you can see the dust being vacuumed out of the bed. It has some weight but seems very durable and slides right over the sheets like an iron without soaking up the sheets. You can just feel the suction power. I bought it because my son has allergies and dermatitis and tends to lose a lot of skin when he's itchy, especially at night, but I think this product is really for everyone, even if you're not allergic. I used it on my bed and it picked up just as much dust (dandruff?). The sheets are soft and clean after each use. We all vacuum our floors to remove dust but when I think about it our beds are full of dust and disgusting dust mites but have never been vacuumed. I'm not sure if UV light does anything, but I believe it disinfects to some extent. There's also a detachable vacuum hose that's great for bedside tables and lamps. I'm very happy with it and can only recommend it to everyone. Now we definitely sleep better and more peacefully knowing that bed bugs are no more!
