Regular Neck TENS

Have been using TENS for 2 decades. In the past, they were only available by prescription and were very expensive. This is my first heater of this type. I've always used separate electrode pad types with wires connected to the device. It is very fast and easy to use as there are no pads to manipulate. Simply wet 3 fixed metal pads, attach and switch on. Functionally everything is fine. heat is a joke. I made a strong fire and I can't say anything. If it gives off heat, I don't feel it. However, when I take it off after a full session (it turns off automatically after 15 minutes), my neck gets warm. It offers some TENS stimulation but all 3 pads are not sticking to my skin. I've noticed that I usually have 2 touches at once, not as many as 3. Should I do this? I do not know. I really do not know it. As mentioned, this is the first device of this type that I have ever used, so I cannot compare it to another to see if another brand or model of neck TENS will work better than this one or not most of them work similarly. often pull / strain muscles. I am very active. I run my own eco farm full time, cook food from scratch, do most things physically instead of letting the machine do it for me, exercise, lift weights and do yoga. I also follow the AIP diet (paleo version of the autoimmune diet). Of all things, exercise (non-aggressive with injuries/pain) and light yoga were the most helpful for me to prevent muscle cramps. TENS come into play when something has gone wrong and I need serious help to become a functioning person again. A few oddities made in CHINA: The picture on the packaging does not match the device. The box shows a cervical TENS with 2 fixed electrode pads. The neck TENS I have in a box have 3 fixed electrode pads, not 2. One sits mainly on my spine and the other two sit on the sides. The printed instructions are terrible. The instructions on the Amazon product page are better. Overall this product is just ok. I plan to look at other brands to see if they are better.
