My daughter (8 years old) is a little cat crazy- okay, a lot! My aunt found a cat eared headband and gave it to her last fall and I kid you not, she has worn that thing every single day since getting it- photo days included! Poor thing has seen better days. Anyway, while browsing for cat stuff, these came up. I mean c’mon- the only way her other headband would be any more catty would be if it was fuzzy, in animal print, and here these are. A heck of a lot cheaper than that one was by itself, too. You should have heard the squeals emitted from my child when she opened that box! She loved them all but immediately was drawn to the hot pink, leopard spotted ears that instantly replaced the old ears. She has such a giving heart, too. After relishing the thought of so many ears to choose from, she picked out three to give to her best friends so they could all wear them together. She was right, too. Those girls haven’t missed a day since without their ears. Too bad our school mascot is the Eagle because the cats are taking over! Ha! My daughter wants me to add that these are EXTREMELY comfortable. They don’t pinch her head, get stuck in her hair, or fall off while running on the playground, "and she runs hard!” Not only that but they are metal framed, not plastic like we expected. MUCH better quality than the plastic ones! One word of advice though, to keep your cat happy, keep a tube of super glue handy. The constant wear and tear of these being on an 8 year old’s head 24/7 will likely undo the glue at the ends and need touching up to keep them wrapped well. Still, totally worth it and I’d buy them again in a heartbeat.
