I'm a size 8 for my daughter who wears a size 8. It fits but leaves no room to grow. I wish I was a size 9 but no straps or anything else you need to get the right size. It is impossible to fix the shoe on the foot if it is a little too big. I didn't want him rubbing anywhere. In general they are charming. I got the blue color because it was on sale and it's very cute in person. They are very light and perfect for toddlers. I will probably order a size 9 in the same color on sale if they no longer fit. I wish it was half the size! 8.5 would have been better and given some room to grow. It would have been nice to have a strap to secure the shoe to the foot so parents could get a slightly larger size to give them room to grow. I think I'd say they run pretty normal if not a tad small. I was worried they would be too tight on my daughter's slightly wide foot, but they are ok! They are great for the pool or the beach. I see the hype around these shoes now because they are easy to clean and you can walk in the water in the summer. They are easy to turn on and off. I would recommend them.
