The lowest setting will move the resin if you hold it in one spot for too long, but it will take care of the air bubbles and remove/lift them to the surface. I've never had to use higher settings as lower settings work just fine. I only use it at 3 minute intervals, and with a maximum run time of 15 minutes, that's enough to get the job done. I have no way of seeing what temp it's blowing at but it gets warm and the nozzle can be hot so be careful but the area you're holding doesn't get hot or anything and it's comfortable to hold. . And of course, watch out for the cord, it's easy to accidentally hang it on something or knock something over with it. Basically I am satisfied with the product. No complaints, it does what it's supposed to, was well packaged and with the right instructions and warnings. I don't use it enough to say if it's worth switching to a more expensive unit for anything more than hobby use, but if you need a heat gun every once in a while then this is for you!
