Review on Protector JACKYLED Universal Protection Extension by Terry Reed

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A neat way to protect all your critical electronics

It's only been a week since my entertainment center was installed with this surge protector but so far so good . I like that it's vertical and not a traditional apartment. I put it on a stool for easy access when needed. It was easy to set up. In addition to connecting all of my electronics (TV, DVR, Blu-Ray, etc.), I labeled each of the power cords to keep things organized and tidy. It is of course separate from this extension. I have yet to try 'smart' USB outlets to power or charge devices. The only thing I would wish for more are the sockets. This one had 12 which is plenty for the average user but as I have so many things to plug in and around my entertainment center I've already used up all 12 sockets and there are a few things that need to be plugged in separately. to an extension cord (which gives me 3 more outlets, unprotected). But I was aware of that when I made my purchase decision, and it seems that most if not all surge protectors have a maximum rating of 12. So overall I like it. I hope it will protect all my important and expensive electronic devices for years to come. Although so far so good. I give it a 5 star rating.

Pros
  • ENERGY AND SPACE SAVING: Two independent switches on the top to save energy, they can control the AC outlets and USB ports on the side indicated by the arrow. With its vertical design, the JACKYLED extension will keep your desk tidy and save space, bye bye messy desk~
Cons
  • Almost everything is here
