I bought one of these a few years ago and it worked great, but it eventually wore out as I dropped my iPhone on every bump in the road. So when it came time to get another one, I bought the same item again. The mount has been redesigned and now no longer grips the phone over the slightest bumps in the road. The upgrade included rubber stoppers on 2 spring loaded tabs that touched but were not attached to the side of the phone and both fell off repeatedly. This product just doesn't work as advertised and I wouldn't buy it again. For your information. I live in a big city with average road conditions.
