Hose attachment points for hot and cold lines are recessed into the main mixer shaft so you can't use a wrench to tighten by turning the hose by hand, it hopefully closes the hoses which are screwed in very tight 3- Inch circle with a half knot, so untie the lores and straighten them while they sit like that for a period of time. It takes some time to keep them straight. There must be a better way to wrap these with them this way. Installation is fairly easy, but when the water is turned back on and the faucet is running, it pings. I have changed 3 faucets and they all ring, my water is not completely full so the ringing is not a serious problem.
