You get a lot of utility with this set considering that you can once pay about the same price for a professional manicure. You get a pretty decent range with 12 colors included. These are small bottles which is good if you tend to waste a lot of nail polish like I do. This set is said to be good for beginners, which is good because I rarely paint my nails. It always seems that the paint peels off too quickly. It's good to have this gel kit because at least the color stays for a while. I'm certainly not great at this so I messed up a few spots that chipped but for the most part the paint lasted at least 2 weeks. The instructions for painting regularly were pretty clear. However, this set gives you so many tools and as a beginner I would like a little more information and/or tips on how to use them. It includes nail art options but no information on how to achieve this look. I'm sure I can find tips elsewhere, but it would be nice to get some of them here. Overall I am satisfied with this set. Update: If you need to remove that gel polish, it's not that easy! They give you cleaning wipes that do absolutely nothing. There's sure to be a trick, but I haven't figured it out yet. I'm glad it stays, but I'd happily remove it if I need it.
