A shower scraper is a good tool to protect your shower from mold. Eventually, if the water sits in one spot for too long, it will cause caulk or grout in the shower to degrade faster, meaning you'll need to grout or top up sooner. It can also allow water to seep into the area behind the sealer and grout, which can mean a much more expensive repair. You may even need to replace the entire shower. So if you use a squeegee to remove most of the standing water every time you shower, you can prevent these problems. This dedge scraper works pretty well. Only criticism is the included hook for hanging in the shower. The piece designed to hang on your shower door is too narrow to fit almost every shower door I've seen. I don't have the ability to hang a mop in the shower with this hook which is why I'm posting this review. You either have to fix the hook to make it useful, or just don't turn it on and sell the scraper yourself.
