I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker for my reading room. I didn't want a stupid plastic street speaker. it looked like it would sit well on my wooden furniture and not stick out. The reviews were spot on, the price was fair, so I bought it. the sound is dull, as if there were no tweeter and a weak midrange. The other 3 plastic Bluetooth speakers sound better and clearer. The big annoyance is the volume, every time I turn it on it goes into overdrive. It's impossible to turn it on quietly at 5am without waking up the whole house. Another thing that is improved in this way is the USB port. Apparently it was designed to sit on a table or shelf to blend in with the furniture and be pleasing to the eye. Why on earth did the designer put the USB port on top? Tuck it in the back so when I try to plug it in, there isn't a big ugly wire sticking right out. It is what it is. It had so much potential but ended up being a pretty big disappointment. I would return it but I haven't really seen anything else that served the purpose so I'll keep it until I get bored and it breaks.
