I love having a small, lightweight, all-purpose tripod, and I haven't had a Slik 500G in decades that finally got plastic fatigue. This tripod was in Prime Day promotion and looked like a worthy replacement. I've used it a few times and found it well made and well thought out, complete with a handy pouch for the phone adapter to live in when I'm not using it. Lately I've been using it as a small tripod to mount my secondary 7" monitor and Tascam recorder next to my DSLR for fixed shooting situations. It's quite durable when working with feet in a small area and serves that purpose very well. Also handy when I need a fixed recording with my phone for a dog playing a video.
