A little worried when I saw the reviews that it came bent for other people but was pleasantly surprised when they came. Excellent quality, strong metal and the box it comes in. also good quality. They have yet to be used for a real event, but they're definitely a good buy. UPDATE: Almost 2 years later these tie clips are exactly as they were originally, in great condition and very strong. There was no problem with them being bent or broken and even their original packaging is still perfect. The finish on these clips is definitely not cheap paint, there were no scratches or chipped paint. I can't even tell if it's the color or just the color of the metal. These clips have been in daily use for almost 2 years and still work great.
