Great for engine parts!

I bought this brush to clean the engine bay on my 2011 F250 along with the engine degreaser. This brush has the perfect stiffness, not too hard to scratch or pull on wires, but strong enough to hold its shape. It's great for tight, hard-to-reach places that you normally can't get to with a regular brush. My engine has not been thoroughly cleaned since it was new in 2011. I would buy this brush again anytime. I am very happy with it. I've added before and after photos to show what a 5-10 minute cleaning of a dirty engine with this brush looks like. All that was used was a blower, engine foam degreaser, this brush and some water. First you need to blow away loose debris with a blower, air hose, or compressed air canister. Anything at hand will do. You then need to take tape, foil, plastic or a combination of these and cover the alternator, intake manifold and major electrical components. Can of degreaser and spray an appropriate amount all over the engine and leave for a few minutes. After the degreaser has set and done its job, take a brush and apply the degreaser. Clean all surfaces and insert the brush into the cracks. Be careful not to pull or get caught on cables or hoses. After cleaning, dampen lightly with water to remove loose grease and dirt from the engine. Avoid over-soaking and be careful not to get water on the inlet and distributor cap. With this brush it is very easy to get excellent results with a detailed engine. This is my new favorite car detailing tool for ease of use and efficiency.
