Looking for reviews on a decent 4-slice toaster, I found that most of the reviews were either random or not. This model is included. But the reviews seemed a bit better than comparable models, so I gave it a try. After a few test toasts, I was able to get a feel for the toast settings. I found this model well done. The toasting was even on both sides of the bread in each slot. I am very happy with it. However, the donut button works differently than the others. According to the instructions, the bagel button adds a nominal toasting time due to the thickness and moisture of the bagel and the toasting on both sides. I'm not used to this. Typical bagel settings allow only one side of the bagel to be browned, leaving you crispy on the inside and soft on the outside. For me this is not decisive, but as I said it goes against the usual settings for toasting bagels. Overall, the toasting is consistent, precise and looks good on the table. Good actor.
