Review on Extra Large Stove Top Cover by Claudia Bryant

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Please check your stove/can be very dangerous!

(2nd Edition) I am updating my review to accurately reflect my experience. The company definitely rates product quality, customer service, communication and support 5 out of 5, but I cannot rate the product higher than 3 due to the inherent dangers that exist for many people. Please be careful. Edited 11/20/21): My initial review is below but I want to be quick to thank the company. Concerned about our health and well-being, they contacted us several times and took steps to rectify the situation. I am very impressed and give 5 stars. I will definitely consider this and all other products in the future. Personal human touch is rare these days. You absolutely deserve my loyalty in the future. Thanks very much! (ps this stove is gone! We never have front handles again) (Original rating with 1 star :) I never write reviews. but I definitely have to say something after what happened to my family. PLEASE consider placing EVERYTHING on a level cooktop surface. I AM ALMOST AGREEING WITH MY HOUSE. My new stove has these front knobs that are easy to press and turn. If you have a stove like this, you are much better off breaking old habits and making a habit of just NOTHING on the stove. When there are two adults in the house, neither of us knows where our two burners came from. included with this cap above. One of us must have been cleaning in front of the stove on the way to the fridge. I don't know how long it was, but when I realized I was feeling something very toxic, my whole house was filled with black smoke and a melted lid was burning on my stove. I put it there to protect the stove and my family from burns, but instead I put my family at risk. Granted, this is a problem with the oven design, not the product itself. However, this seems to be a big problem and the cause of oven fires these days. If you put something on the stove and it accidentally turns on, that or some other item will cause a fire. If it's not a pan, don't put it on the stove. Period!
