I bought this scope with the intention of using it at the range to see targets out to 200 yards (the maximum range in my area). FIRST IMPRESSION: Good packaging. Carrying case (with scope inside), manual and tripod are the first things you see when you open the box. The tripod is metal with a very durable black finish and when I unfolded it on my desk it was very solid. Nothing dangles and the rubber feet really hold on. The lever that allows you to adjust the angle of the scope moves smoothly and locks the scope in place very well when tightened. The case has a lightweight nylon feel, but works great in my shooting bag to protect the scope from anything that might damage it there. Roxant should consider making an aftermarket neoprene sleeve for it! The scale is tiny. As you can see from the photos, the scope is 9 inches long and weighs just under 1lb 2oz. In the hand it feels like a quality product. just the right amount to ensure they don't fall off on their own. The gumming feels premium and the matte black finish is clean, clean. It would be pretty cute if they offered it in coyote brown and green. : I quickly set up the scope on a tripod and checked the view of the road. IMPRESSIVE! The neighbor's antenna picture was amazing. I took it to Manhattan this weekend to visit my sister and was able to get an incredibly clear picture of a building rising above the treetops in Central Park. The picture shows how far away I was and I don't have a set top box to plug my phone into. I just pointed my phone's camera lens at the scope and took this close-up. This image was crystal clear when viewed properly. I plan to get the scope on the range this weekend and will post more photos and an update on my review as soon as possible. CONCLUSION: If you are looking for a range scope, I highly recommend this one. The form and function of this product (especially at this price point) is amazing. While I was planning on using it primarily for the shooting range, I could definitely pack it myself for a day trip with the kids so they can explore through the scope on their breaks.
