The security in my area is deteriorating and a lot of terrible things are happening here. Things in my garden were stolen quite often. I decided to invest in a decent security system to protect my family. I got this XVIM 8 camera security system mainly for its cameras and 2TB storage. I'm a DIY guy, but I'm not a do-it-all tech guy. Installation was surprisingly quick and easy. All in all it took me about 30 minutes. These eight cameras are rugged and weatherproof for outdoor use. So far, the video footage has been clear and smooth. I love the fact that I can check my house with the phone app when I'm not at home. And I feel very confident after setting up motion detection, which sends me an alert and email when it's triggered. Night vision works, but I'd still recommend getting a motion-activated lamp.
