These shoes are inspired by the Ryka sneaker. They offer a similar level of comfort and attention to detail in fit and construction, but cost a lot less money. I bought black and white with pink soles. Like Ryka, although they are mesh, their structure allows them to keep their shape. The insole doesn't look like a cloud. They have a firm but soft cushioning insole that wraps around the foot for extra support. It's fixable. Has the firmness of memory foam. I have a thin insole from Dr. Scholl added for extra softness and comfort. Comfortable without them, but I add Dr. insoles to all my shoes. Schools. They have arch support, which is really cool. Arch support is built into the design of the shoe, not the insole. The way the sole is attached provides excellent arch support. The sole is of good quality, there are not many dents on the sole, which can cause the sole to tear. Sole about 1 1/2 inches. The laces are not too long and are of good quality. There is padding around the ankle. The tongue is a little long. The tongue of the black pair I ordered was unsewn. They are light. Feet can move easily in these shoes. They are really medium. The length corresponds to the size. I was hesitant to buy mesh sneakers period thinking they wouldn't hold their shape but that's not the case with some brands. They have a soft lining underneath the mesh, and the entire front area bordering the toes has soft reinforced strips on both sides to keep feet in place. The feet remain in the insoles with cups. Ryka also has insoles that wrap around the feet. You look good! Very stylish. colors as shown. I bought black and then white. i recently bought a pair of gray ryka and am happy with how they fit, feel and have texture without being stiff. They have a similar fit, feel, structure and good construction but cost a lot less. I ordered a white and black Ryka pair from QVC for $70 each. PO delivered them to the wrong address and I didn't receive them. I'm glad I didn't because I ordered them instead. I'm happy. Thanks seller. I just want to add that these magic sponges clean these shoes in white too. Nice. Magic Sponge is a brand name, but cheaper generics work just as well as branded ones.
